The great 2007 documentary Heavy Metal in Baghdad about, you wouldn’t have guessed it, a – or better the only – heavy metal band in the whole of Iraq is now available in feature film length at Youtube. While Iraq disintegrates around them after the US-Invasion four young men try to follow their passion and make heavy metal music.
A great insight in a culture that is not so much different as it might seem at first sight. Ca-lick.
